The program aims to develop children's psychological stability, attentiveness, stress resistance, the ability to resolve conflicts, protect their boundaries, and regulate emotions. The program was developed more than ten years ago, and is successfully implemented in many schools in Poland, where it is one of the best mental health prevention programs, according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.

With the beginning of the full-scale aggression of Russia, a group of Polish and Ukrainian specialists, together with the creators of the program, translated and adapted the "Emotional First Aid Kit" to Ukrainian realities, and also conducted a series of trainings for training Ukrainian teachers, psychologists, and pedagogues to conduct classes with children in accordance with the standards and program requirements.
The program is designed for children and youth aged 7-14.

Adaptation of the program and training of specialists took place within the framework of the "Wings of Hope" project, financed by the "Supporting Ukraine" program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, implemented by the Education for Democracy Fund. The implementers of the project are the "Wings for Education" Foundation, the Center for Positive Education, the NGO "Wings for the Family".
